Was the Hero Strong?

Description

Villa Zebra, in collaboration with Centrum Beeldende Kunst, brought together a selection of visual art specially made for children between 4 and 12 years by Rotterdam artists. Studio La Meul designed various scenographies with a committee of children. Villa Zebra organised three totally different exhibitions in 2008-2009 but with the same figures. As cherry on the cake, the Onafhankelijk Toneel theatre company made a theatre production in the last exhibition. Children learnt that art can mean something else depending on the context.
