Out of the Cube opens with two exhibitions: New Geographies and Intercultural Fashion. New Geographies is the concept of Monica de Miranda (Portugal). Ten Dutch celebrities show the places to which they feel emotionally attached on a personal world map. For Intercultural Fashion, seven rising stars from the Mozaïek fashion studio in the Amsterdam Baarsjes were commissioned by Imagine IC to produce a series of 'intercultural designs'. Messages of identity, traditions and fusion were worked into their creations.
